Today marks one hundred years since the battle of Cambrai which saw military tanks used in large numbers for the first time.
Members of the Royal New Zealand Army Corp attended a commemoration of the battle at the National War Memorial at Pukeahau Park in Wellington.
A wreath was placed to remember the battle that took place between the 20th of November and 7 December 1917.
The Wellington service was attended by current and former New Zealand service men and woman.
